This Forward Global studio will be an interactive workshop designed for funders, investors, and philanthropists who are ready to align their work with the principles and values of being in right relationship with Indigenous people and communities. Through historical grounding, personal reflection, and practical tools, participants will explore how colonization shaped our financial systems and money stories—and how those legacies continue to influence philanthropy and investments today. Together, we will unpack what it means to be in right relationship with Indigenous people and communities and consider how to align our portfolios with values of reciprocity, accountability, and justice. This workshop offers a brave and compassionate space to move from awareness to action, shifting power and capital in service of a more just and regenerative future.
