AI for Humanity: AI & Social Connection Register

September 12 @ 9:00 am 10:30 am UTC+0

As AI technologies become more embedded in daily human interactions, they offer new ways to connect and communicate but also bring challenges such as potential isolation and changes in how cultural identities are experienced and expressed. This evolving landscape prompts important questions about the nature of social relationships and empathy in an increasingly digital world. The discussion will cover the dual potential of AI to either enhance or undermine social cohesion, examining how these technologies might help bridge cultural divides or exacerbate them. The session will also explore the role of AI in social movements and collective decision-making, including in the so-called “mega election year.”
