Canada Coffee Hour is a member-led program designed to foster community and connections among Canadian members from coast to coast. Through engaging discussions and learning opportunities, these monthly virtual gatherings aim to inspire, challenge perspectives, and strengthen our shared commitment to philanthropy. Speaker Bio
Jaye Russell is the Executive Director of Sea to Sky Community Services Society (SSCS), a charitable organization based in Squamish, British Columbia, that has been strengthening individuals, families, and communities since 1978.
With more than 15 years of leadership experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, Jaye is dedicated to creating innovative, community-driven programs that foster connection, well-being, and lasting impact. Her career includes senior roles with the City of Calgary, Calgary Homeless Foundation, Vancouver Aquarium, and the City of Vancouver, where she led initiatives focused on social planning, community development, and organizational culture.
Passionate about building positive, adaptive teams and sustainable social systems, Jaye works alongside SSCS’s Board and staff to deliver meaningful programs that make a difference in people’s lives. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in International Development from Dalhousie University and a Diploma in Community Development from the University of Havana.
