Climate Action Lab | Telling the Story: Environmental Journalism

This session will focus on the crucial role of environmental journalism and climate communications. This topic received the most votes from CAL members in our June survey of interest, and for good reason: reporting on climate conditions – and especially proven climate solutions – is grossly underfunded. Unless we get the facts straight on climate realities alongside robust reporting on scalable solutions shown to work, we will not achieve the public support we must have to meet the climate challenge. We’ll get the bird’s eye view from a guest speaker and hear from members who see supporting journalism and communications as crucial to their own climate strategies.
