Democracy Action Lab: Introducing the Conservative Pro-Democracy Movement

This month, we’ll explore pro-democracy efforts on the political Right with Sarah Longwell, whose research and leadership have been critical in creating the burgeoning conservative pro-democracy ecosystem. In this time of heightened polarization and social tension, we’ll learn about this movement’s struggles and successes, and consider both challenges and opportunities for collaboration. Sarah is co-founder of Defending Democracy Together, president of Republican Accountability PAC, publisher of The Bulwark, and host of The Focus Group Podcast.

We will have 15-minute pre-session “office hours” at 9:45am PST | 12:45pm EST open to anyone interested in joining early to ask specific democracy-related questions of our facilitators and/or peers (or simply to say hello).
