On this call, we will be joined by Kate Raworth, the “renegade economist” behind the doughnut model, and author of Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st-Century Economist.
We’ve referred to Doughnut Economics across many of our calls as a model for what the “New Economy” could look like – providing a social foundation while remaining within planetary boundaries. More than a theory or an idealistic vision, it is being implemented in cities across the world, from Portland to Amsterdam, Dublin to Mexico City, and many more. We will focus the conversation on this practical application, sharing the theory beforehand so everyone can get up to speed.
