New Economy Action Lab
In this month’s NEAL session, we will dig into two concepts shaping place-based economic work—participatory budgeting and community discernment, as well as what they mean for how funders engage.
We will:
• Explore how participatory budgeting can improve community-wide resource allocation
• Discuss how the people closest to problems know the solutions, and what that means for grantmaking.
• Share examples from the field.
