This studio led by social entrepreneur and systems expert Nadia Roumani of Stanford University, is a highly interactive workshop designed to help you build your knowledge of systems change, map the system you are working in, and identify where you can find leverage in the system for impact. It is an excellent opportunity for any funder interested in systemic change to clarify your focus and priorities and to connect with like-minded funders in the community.
What to expect?
- Day One: Map systems, identify stakeholders, explore dynamics, and uncover opportunities for systemic change.
- Day Two: Examine the role of funders supporting systemic solutions and reflect on your own strategy and theory of change.
- Outcomes: Leave with a set of decisions to review with co-decision makers and a clear set of next steps for how to act upon your strategy in the short-term.
Who is it for?
Members with a foundational understanding of systems change looking to go a level deeper, apply these principles to their own strategies and identify clear next steps.
Program Logistics:
This studio will be held on Tuesday & Thursday, February 3 & 5 for 2 hours each day beginning at 9:00am PT | 12:00pm ET | 5:00pm GMT. Attendees are requested to participate on all days. Note: Participants will join with a specific strategic challenge that they will workshop throughout. Examples might include improving mental health awareness and support on a local level, improving national immigration policy or supporting innovative climate mitigation strategies on a global level.
