February 11 @ 9:00 am – 10:15 am UTC-8
We often imagine families of wealth as having every advantage, free from life’s hardest struggles. Yet living with abundance brings its own challenges. Wealth can place heavy expectations on each generation, complicate relationships, and invite scrutiny from the outside world. These pressures affect not just individuals, but the whole family. When they become overwhelming, families risk losing connection with one another—and with the larger contributions they are capable of making together.
This workshop series will shine a spotlight on the next gen of the affluent and their families, and the ecosystem of professionals who influence them—wealth advisors, estate attorneys, tax attorneys, philanthropic advisors, family office professionals, and career coaches—to identify and confront negative thinking and behaviors related to wealth.
Privately held wealth carries tremendous potential to benefit both family and society. Realizing that potential depends on how families come together to nurture values, strengths, and purpose across generations. This series offers a compassionate framework for helping families connect individual gifts to shared hopes, so that everyone can grow, thrive, and contribute meaningfully to one another and the world around them.
In this workshop series, we will explore:
- The hidden tripwires that often exist for family members in affluent and enterprising families
- The four key types of psychological “clutter” that can keep any family member from reaching their potential (and how to clear that clutter)
- The seven-step process for clearing the psychological clutter that gets in the way of fully engaging in one’s life
- Moving from “thriving self” to “thriving community” – leveraging your strengths to create impact with your time, talent, and treasure
- The important ways that families can co-create a culture of thriving for all family members
- Tying it all together – navigating family wealth and creating an impactful life
This session will be 75 minutes long on Wednesday, February 11 at 10:00am PT | 1:00pm ET | 6:00pm GMT. If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Wolverton, President of Forward Global Canada at lisa@forward-global.org.
