Families navigating financial privilege often face unique tensions and conflicts that can feel isolating or misunderstood. These challenges, though difficult, can also be opportunities for deeper connection and growth.
Kristin Keffeler, MSM, MAPP is a thought leader and consultant at the forefront of a global shift in family wealth advising, known as Wealth 3.0. As the Chief Learning Officer for the Johnson Financial Group, Kristin is leading the firm’s vision for creating an integrated platform of client engagement that prioritizes growth of a family’s human capital alongside the growth of their financial capital.
Kristin’s strengths-based approach is grounded in her research and years of consulting to families. She specializes in human motivation and behavioral change, family dynamics, family governance, rising gen education and development, and intergenerational collaboration. Kristin has a particular fondness for the rising generation in significant families, whom she believes are uniquely positioned to create meaningful impact in the world. Kristin uses a lens of strengths to help these family members—and the parents and advisors who guide them—to ignite their potential. She recently published her first book, The Myth of the Silver Spoon: Navigating Family Wealth & Creating an Impactful Life. In July 2023, she published the co-authored book Wealth 3.0: The Future of Family Wealth Advising with Drs. Jim Grubman and Dennis Jaffe.
