Join this interactive in-person workshop, hosted in collaboration with Social Venture Partners (SVP) Vancouver and facilitated by Forward Global Canada Board Member and Toniic CEO Dara Parker, to build philanthropy partnership skills and explore new tools, covering:
- – Innovative ways to find new partners
- – How to conduct trust-based and equitable due diligence
- – What to look for in non-profit annual reports, including financial statements
- – How to define your risk appetite and develop best practices in risk mitigation
- – How to build strong partnerships over time, including through equitable practices to grant-making
As a “Studio” programme, we will ask participants to bring examples of what they already have: including existing due diligence frameworks, to share, analyse, and improve. Any members who do not yet have these frameworks can still join and develop them during the session.
